Resolved Question: Acid Reflux Disease...?
Posted by rose 4 days ago (http://answers.yahoo.com)
I have acid reflux which means that that thing in my stomach doesn't open and close like it should, it just stays open. Things that are fatty make me nauseous.Last night I had a lot of fries because I was really hungry and didn't have time to make anything. I've now been feeling soooooo terrible. I can't even put into words how I felt when I woke up.I have a phobia of vomiting and I haven't done that in a while so I can't. I can't do it. I start crying when I'm close to vomiting I don't want to go through that.I've used the bathroom a lot since I woke up. I woke up an hour before I normally do just because of the pain and it's morning right now. When I used the bathroom, I went number 2 but it was all just watery. It didn't hurt but when I did it, it made me more nauseous as it happened. I feel so terrible. I have school in half an hour. I hate this. It's seriuosly just water though and it's more than I've ever had. I have these anti-acid pills that I'm only supposed to take 1 per day of and I took one last night because it works best if you take it then but will it do anything if I take it now? I feel so terrible. If it didn't work last night, would it really work now? If it actually would, how long would it take for it to get better? I feel like I'm dying. please helpdumbass i have acid reflux DISEASE. which means the acid reflux is caused by a DEFECT IN MY BODY. i an underweight assholei know what the disease is im asking for help dealing with it RIGHT NOWthanks for your answer. i will try the milk thing. and i was born with it too and although i was underweight as a young child too, i would get this and vomit many, many times per month and that's why i am terrified of it now

Resolved Question: is this Acid Reflux disease?

About 6 or 7 months ago I began to have heart burn quite often. I went to the doc and got prescribed prilosec (it was cheaper than buying OTC) but the nurse never said much more. Now its all the time. One morning I woke up with it! Anything can trigger it...soda, coffee, of course...but even things like bread! I carry tums everywhere I go because thats what works ...I had to stop prilosec because of trying to have a baby and it could effect the unborn child if i get pregnant. Its nonstop and if I dont have tums with me, Im screwed. I'm a 27 year old female. Is this Acid reflux disease?

I sometimes get chest pains and pain in my head or arms when I walk around but I don't get them all the time. I also cough when that happens sometimes and my throat feels messed up a lot. I wake up in the night sometimes and it's like I'm choking and it feels like I need air. I never have shortness of breath and I get tired sometimes when I leave the house, even if I don't do walking I get tired when I leave the house. Is this heart disease or acid reflux??
Resolved Question: what are symptoms of acid reflux disease?
Posted by rose 67 days ago (http://answers.yahoo.com)
i've been having chest pains and heartburn for a month, first the doctor said it was bacteria in my stomach then the test came through and it wasn't so my mom thought it was something with my gall bladder but we didn't see any gall stones. so i'm wondering if i should ask if it could be a.r.d. but i want to know the symptoms first.
I take prevacid it works but has terrible side effects and upon further research I have found that it shuts down the most vital important function of your body and pretty much will kill you. It turns of pepsin an acid the turns protein into usable amino acids without this breakdown the body will slowly die muscles cannot get repaired bones tissue wont get restores osteoporosis will set it in and many vitamin deficiencies as well.
I didn't have the symtoms anymore after I took the meds and everything. I see comercials on tv with a person saying they have it and it seems like they have it forever or something? I don't have any of the symtoms anymore..did I grow out of it or am I just lucky?
