I need a list of food for GERD diet any help?I am not talking about dieting for losing weight. I need a diet for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.
I really want to go get a latte with a friend that is back in town but I know coffee (both decaf and caffeinated) affects GERD.If I take 2-3 antacids beforehand, will I be okay?will my LES relax? help
I keep suffering with my stomach and though I got the vomiting under control the pain has continued. Now the vomiting has started again and awful pain. Anyone got any advice? My doctor doesnt seem to be able to help. I had my gallbladder removed last year. Now he thinks it may be some tablets Im on upsetting my stomach. Ive just been on antibiotics too.
I am in Iraq, so my resources are limited as to natural remedies and i don't want to use drugs. I haven't had any issues with stomach problems until i moved to this new base. Now I have only been here a week, but the only other thing i did was microwaved oatmeal in a plastic bowl non microwavable safe , because that is all i could buy and i ate oatmeal for three days in a row in the morning. Now all the sudden i have really bad acid reflux, stomach pain, fullness feeling, burping, throat burning, ect... really bad never had it like this before! Its been a long time since ive had reflux problems, years in fact. do you think the microwave and the bowls i used has anything to do with it? My food did taste weird in it and i thought about it but i didnt have any other bowls and given my circumstances (Iraq). Guess it was stupid to do it though... If anyone has any natural solutions that would be great thanks alot
Ok so I have gastric reflux, I got nexium for one a day and Domperidone 3 times a day for a month,ok so like one day after i finished the domperidon pills i felt no heart burn no stomach burning nothing.My dad bough coke and brought Chinese take out i ate allot and drank some.But now i have heart burn and burning sensation sometimes in my stomach.Did i ruin the treatment should i go the docter?I'm taking nexium now every morning but i dont see much difference.Will i be healed?should i wait one more month untill i finish the n treatment or should i go to the docter now?My parents are allways busy.So i would not wanna go for nothing.will this ever go away : (?

In my last discussion I told you about the issues with stomach contents getting into my airway when I sleep. I wake up choking and coughing. Anyway, I went to the doc today and she sent me home with a sleep study machine. It's a computer gadget that fits around my head and has sensors on it and a nose piece. She said not to sleep with my oxygen on tonight so she can get a true reading of my sleep study.Technology has advanced so much now that you can have a sleep study at home. Just a few years ago I was supposed to have one, but I had to go to a sleep lab. I never went because I would have had to pay $300 upfront for a copay. This is so much easier and my insurance will pay for this.Have you ever had an at home sleep study? Or did you have to go to a sleep lab? Please share your experience with sleep apnea and the sleep study. [em]wink[/em]
